I found a good story about the safari adventures in Kenya today in the Pahrump Valley Times, a small paper in Nevada. (I’m a huge fan of community – or smalltown – newspapers. I often like their feature stories a lot more than the ones in huge, nationwide newspapers.) In this story, the writer chronicles (while quoting prices and giving helpful insider tips) his journeys through several Kenyan game reserves and safari camps. When the trip is done, he heads back to Nairobi and visits the famous Carnivore Restaurant there. On the menu? Zebra, ostrich, crocodile….oh, and chicken.
