Le Meridien Lav Opens in Split, Croatia

Filed under: Destinations, Europe - All Countries, News, Uncategorized — admin @ 12:14 pm

Le meridien LavStarwood announced the opening of its first Le Meridien property in Croatia today. Still quite the hotspot for European beach getaways, Croatia attracts travelers with its Mediterranean climate, impossibly blue water and up and coming nightlife scene. The 381-room Le Meridien Lav is located a few minutes outside of Split in Podstrana and offers direct beach access, eight restaurants and bars, a casino with gaming tables and slot machines, a night club, spa and wellness center and a promenade with shops along the water. The hotel was previously the Hotel Lav. Starwood poured $150 million into the property before reopening this month.

Special opening rates start at 115 euro for a standard room, according to a search I did for a Friday night stay in February.
