12 Years of Going Overboard

Filed under: Cruise Travel, News, Unusual News — admin @ 3:00 am

For a some slightly morbid reason, I was intrigued by Cruise Junkie’s chart cataloging every person who has fallen off a cruise ship or ferry since 1995. According to the chart, the lines reporting the highest number of overboard-ees are Carnival (25) and Royal Caribbean International (17). Of course, those are two of the largest cruise lines.

I learned about the chart from World Hum, which, if you’re interested in this sort of thing, has a post up called ‘Man Overboard’: A Look at Cruise Ship Disappearances. Like I said, slightly morbid, but yet oh so intriguing.
