New Cush Bedding Lights up Candlewood Suites

Filed under: Destinations, News, Uncategorized — admin @ 3:33 am

candlewood suitesIf you appreciate a few big, fluffy pillows and back-friendly mattress in your hotel room, you won’t have trouble finding them these days. What you will have trouble finding is a bedding situation that is made with the housekeeping staff in mind. Candlewood Suites recently announced the completion of its bedding upgrade (11,000 mattresses and bedding sets at over 100 hotels in less than 100 days), and along with it come some interesting perks for the folks who have to deal with it day in and day out.

- The bedskirts (a.k.a. dustruffles) wraps around the box spring instead of lying flat across it. Housekeeping staff no longer has to lift the mattress to change or adjust the bedskirt.

- Bedskirts are also wrinkle-free – so they don’t have to be ironed.

- Duvet covers open on two sides instead of the traditional one side for easy removal and insertion of the duvet insert/comforter.

- Instead of buttons, the duvets use snaps (easier on the fingers).

And while those features won’t affect guests one way or the other, features like triple sheeting, 250-thread count, pillow choices (firm, medium and feather) and decorative pillows certainly will.
