- Southwest’s Fly 4, See Hawaii Deal
-
While it seems unlikely that most travelers would have reason to fly four roundtrip long haul flights on Southwest Airlines before Nov. 15, 2007 (flights that they haven’t booked yet), travelers who do will be able to take advantage of the airline’s latest Click ‘n Save Deal. The best part? The deal still offers a free roundtrip ticket anywhere in the U.S. that Southwest flies if you only book and fly two long haul flights on Southwest by Nov. 15th. It’s much more likely that travelers will be able to take advantage of the latter part of the deal. For all the details, click the link below.

- Hawaiian and Aloha Offer Special Fares for Superferry Customers
-
Now that the Hawaii Superferry is grounded until a judge rules whether the service can continue operating before an environmental impact report ensues, Hawaiian Airlines and Aloha Airlines are offering special $19 one-way fares to jilted Superferry ticket holders. Fares are good for flights between Honolulu and Lihue or Kahului through Oct. 31, 2007 and must be booked by Sept. 7, 2007. To score the fare, you have to have a booking number from Superferry. See the link below for details.

- Hawaii Superferry Grounded Until Next Week
-
The Hawaii Superferry - the first non-airline mass transit option between the islands - has been grounded until at least next Thursday, when a Maui circuit court will resume a hearing on the new interisland ferry service. Officially launched on Monday, the Superferry was blocked by protesters on surfboards who worry that the service will endanger marine life species and argue that the state should have required an environmental impact study before allowing the new service to begin. We’ll keep ya posted on what happens.

- Hawaiian to Add Honolulu - Manila Route
-
In March 2008, Hawaiian Airlines is planning to add a direct Honolulu-Manila route to its flight roster. Not only will this make it much easier for travelers to fly between Hawaii and the Philippines, but it will also make an interesting stopover opportunity for West Coast (or really, all U.S.) travelers who want to visit the Philippines (kind of like the popular Fiji-Australia stopover).

- Wanna Know Where De Niro Dined Saturday Night?
-
Ah yes, we all want to know where Bob De Niro dined last Saturday night: The Waikiki Parc Hotel. Check out De Niro At Waikiki Parc Hotel if you want to see more. If you were to visit the Waikiki Parc Hotel, you’d find a 297-room hotel that was renovated in 2006, offers free wi-fi in public areas, has an outdoor pool and - of course - a nobu restaurant. Hence the reason De Niro was at the hotel….

- More Reasons to Dream About Four Seasons Maui
-
Having visited the Four Seasons Maui a few years ago, I’m having a hard time imagining that it could get much better - but apparently it has. The hotel recently completed $50 million in renovations to the property. And while we don’t always care about official ratings, the hotel’s status as Hawaii’s first and only AAA Five-Diamond and Mobil Five Star resort is worth noting. New at the hotel as of June 2007:- DUO, a steak and seafood restaurant, joins the hotel’s Spago Maui and Ferraro’s Bar e Ristorante.
- New furnishings, carpet, wallpaper and fixtures in all 380 guestrooms and suites
- 42″ LG flat screen HD TVs and iHome iPod docking stations with DVD players in every room
- Braun Tassimo coffee machines in each room
- High-speed wi-fi throughout the property
- Resurfaced children’s pool deck
- Oceanfront “hales” at the spa for treatments
- New Italian linens and an energy-efficient laundry facility

- Expedia’s Labor Day Hotel Sale
-
Been thinking about a Labor Day getaway this year? Expedia has some good deals up on hotels and air+hotel packages. Examples:
- Airfare + three nights in Kauai for $703
- Airfare + three nights in Orlando for $320
- Airfare + three nights in Myrtle Beach for $416
Obviously, you won’t be staying in luxury accommodations at these prices, but that’s not a priority for many travelers these days.
